In Kuta the nightlife is very relaxed. There are a number of restaurants to visit for excellent, freshly prepared food. Some of the restaurants have light music on the weekends. Here in town the best thing to do is chat up the local fisherman and learn about life.

Warung Drifters: Great burgers as well as plentiful and nice veggie options. Nice staff.
KRNK Cafe & Restaurant: Great homemade food for a good price and the staff are really friendly and fast. The salmon and quinoa bowl get rave reviews.
Riviera Bar and Café: Rated one of the top five restaurants in Kuta, Lombok. A favourite spot for vegetarians this local café offers some of the best veggie curry and tofu on the island. Eat here once and you may make new friends for life.
Nightlife
Kuta is still in its infancy as a tourist location so the nightlife is limited but growing.
Surfers Bar Kuta Lombok: Nice staff and good atmosphere. Great cocktails and entertainment. One of the best party spots in town.
The Bus Bar: Cool bar with a VW camper van as a bar. The seats are made of reclaimed pallets and oil drums. The vibe is hippy and grunge but the younger crowd loves it. Great pizzas. Good cocktails, excellent service, good atmosphere.
Juice and booze bar: The new kid on the block but getting rave reviews. Laid back atmosphere and very friendly staff and great vibe and awesome treehouse setup. Great music and entertainment.
