Horseback Riding Tours in Kuta Lombok
When booking a horseback riding tour in Kuta it is important to decide what time you would like to head out. As the sun peaks during ten and two, the horses can get very dehydrated and tired. It is best to book a tour early in the morning or in the afternoon and simply enjoy a long lunch during peak sun hours.
Some of the most popular horseback riding tours on Kuta, Lombok are:
- Kuta Horses: This tour is part of Hotel Novotel Lombok
- MingLombok Adventure and Tours: At around $70 this is a very affordable tour for the family
- Horse Riding Lombok: Choose to tour the beaches or rise early to see the mountains
Many of the horses which guests will ride are from Australia as horses native to Kuta are much smaller. There are classes for beginners as well as advanced riders. All of the horses which are part of the tours are said to be very well behaved and friendly, making this a fun trip even for those timid around horses.

My family and I have booked to stay with you on the 3rd to the 18th July. Some (or maybe all) of us would be keen to do a horse riding trek. We would be a mixture of adults and children and novice and experienced riders, but all willing and able to canter. Could a trek be possible? If so for how long and at what cost? Would it be possible to hire a horse every day? My partner and I are very experienced and would like to spend some time teaching the children in natural horsemanship ways. I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks for booking a stay with us – we look forward to hosting you!
