Mount Rinjani is one of the most popular spots on Lombok for tourists. This is a live volcano which has erupted in the past decade. Here you will see some of the most impressive views in Lombok and the world. Additionally, while hiking to the summit at Mount Rinjani, you will get a tour of the wildlife. As Lombok has no formal zoo, you can see the animals in their natural habitat. Be sure to take one of these tours with a guide as you want to be sure you follow proper procedures around the animals.
